Nottingham & District Gun ClubNottingham & District Gun Club celebrates 50 years of clay pigeon shooting this year and is going from strength to strength. With numerous major championships planned for 2012, along with expansion and some exciting new initiatives, such as pool shoots and club championships, we are very excited about our golden anniversary year. Because of our success, we are not just a gun club; we are a full activity centre for families and groups as well as individuals. With facilities for private events such as stag nights and corporate parties, NDGC offers a most unusual alternative to the standard work's night out! Within the NDGC grounds, you can try clay pigeon shooting, zorbing, go karting, tank driving, triple target shooting or try your hand at our ultimate race event! More activities are planned for the the near future. After a hard day on the shooting layouts, relax and enjoy our member's bar, a delicious meal from our extensive menu or just warm yourself by our coal fire. We offer practise sessions, corporate events and competition shoots. Instruction is available for all, from the novice shooter through to the expert, either singularly or in groups. No licence or previous experience is necessary whilst under our instruction. We have seven full time qualified instructors with a wealth of shooting experience. Our instructors include England Team members, National, Regional & County Champions and also experienced game shooters, so what ever your needs we will have an instructor ideally suited to you. All necessary equipment, guns etc., can be provided with prior notice for shooting under instruction. All activities are fully insured and safety is a priority at all times. Partners and children very welcome to accompany anyone wishing to take part, however, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. Opening Times
Competitions are held every Sunday - entries 8.30am-12.30pm unless otherwise listed. Telephone entries are always welcome, practice normally available after the competition, always call to check what time practice is available.
